This month, we’re catching up with Lucy, one of our IT Engineers.
How long have you been a part of the team at Jupiter IT?
18 months now!
What do you like most about working at Jupiter IT?
I like being part of a positive team. We all have a can do attitude which I think is really important in the service we offer. A big bonus for me is the satisfaction you get when you’re helping people get back to doing what they do best, on a daily basis.
What gets you out of bed each morning?
PMA!!! Positive Mental Attitude. My purpose is to be the best “gal” I can be!
Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
I “try” to go to the gym 3-4 times a week. I’ve recently also got into running as well. Of course, it is all about a balanced lifestyle, so whilst I work hard during the week, I play hard at the weekend. I enjoy a good night out with friends.
Why do you think clients should work with Jupiter IT?
It’s easy for companies to say they do x, y and z – but many don’t actually deliver what they promise. We have a dedicated team working on our clients’ systems using the best technology for each client. On top of this, we have a team that all want to be the best at what we do, we spend time training every single week to ensure we are learning about the latest methods.
This is brilliant for us personally, but that is also something we then pass on to our clients. They get the benefit of the best technology and the best methods – they shouldn’t have to worry about their IT, it’s what we are here for.
Tell us something not many people know about you?
I recently won a dance off on stage in front of 800 people. It is fair to say I was happy with my £50 winnings.
What is your favourite film soundtrack?
Will I get judged if I say Frozen? I know every word to every song!
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
Do I sound like a psycho if I say murder documentaries/programmes? I really can’t get enough of them – my Sunday’s tend to be filled binge watching!
